My Workplace Prayer
"Dear Lord, I am your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works in the marketplace. This is my destiny and this is my place of ministry. I accept your call and I commit to faithfully walk in it. From now on I will consider work my ministry and ministry my work. I will do everything unto the glory of God so that my labour will constitute an act of worship."

Purpose @ Work was a special themed conference held week 3 (July 17-24, 2010) of this summer. This week at MBC was set aside to focus on helping our guests understand the role of faith in their everyday work lives. This was a week of inspiration, affirmation, connecting and equipping. Whether you are a work at home mom, a corporate business leader, an entrepreneur or in 'retirement' - there is something here for you.

About David Arrol Macfarlane, the Director of National Initiatives for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada:
David is a humorous and engaging speaker, trainer and motivator who was an executive with the American Express Corporation before he spent over two decades on the front lines of ministry through local Canadian churches that have grown to beyond 1200 and 1500 in regular weekend attendance through prayerful strategic outreach. David’s inspiring, informative, practical and surprisingly humorous presentations have become popular with organizations, denominations and congregations who value relevance, church health and a desire to “engage their world”. David and his wife Diana have three grown daughters.
