My Workplace Declaration
As an heir of the Promise I commit to His Purpose.
LORD, only You are worthy of my Praise.
FATHER, I repent of any unrighteous opinions or attitudes towards
work, money, profit, governments, auditors, regulators, and competitors.
I also repent of any negative attitude towards the local Church, the Elders or the Pastor.
I ask Your forgiveness for these and any other choices, actions or attitudes that have hindered
my witness for You at home and at work.
“And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;” (Eph. 4: 11-12 NASV)
TODAY, I declare that I am Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works in the marketplace. This is my destiny and this is my place of ministry. I accept Your call and I commit to faithfully walk in it and from now on, my labour will constitute an act of worship. I am anointed for my work; the workplace is my mission field; the church is my chosen community of faith.
“God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are called according to His Purpose.” (Rom. 8:28)
I DECLARE that I am a bondservant of the Lord Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit and
empowered to be an ambassador of the Truth in my everyday endeavours. I commit to pray for all those with whom I work and to honour Him who died for me.
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed,
handling accurately the word of truth.” (2 Tim. 2: 15 NASV)
As a citizen of heaven, I seek to be transformed by Your love, to be diligent in the pursuit of excellence
in my work and to invest in the transformation of my workplace and my city.
“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ;” (Phil. 3: 20 NASV)
FATHER, before these witnesses, I DECLARE my love for You
and my intimate relationship with Jesus Your Son.
I choose this day to serve You and to Honour You as a member of the priesthood of all believers
and as an heir of the kingdom!
